Algunos datos.
Este año ha aumentado en un 50% tanto el número de autores que han participado, como el número de obras presentadas. En total han sido 288 obras, realizadas por 171 dibujantes de 42 países.
España con 39 obras es el país con más representación, seguido por Irán y Serbia con 14 trabajos cada uno. Las viñetas españolas han llegado de la Comunidad Valenciana, Canarias, Galicia, Cataluña, Castilla León y Murcia

BASES "V CONCURSO HUMOR GRÁFICO SANTOMERA 2010". (RULES V CARTOON CONTEST)

El Excmo. Ayuntamiento de Santomera convoca el presente concurso, con arreglo a las siguientes BASES:

1. Podrán concursar todos los humoristas gráficos, profesionales o no, de cualquier país.
2. Se admitirán un máximo de dos obras por participante, que necesariamente no habrán sido presentadas a otro certamen.
3. El tema: “GLOBALIZACIÓN, EXCLUSIÓN SOCIAL Y SOLIDARIDAD”.
4. Las obras, deberán ser originales, realizadas en cualquier técnica pictórica. Se admitirán trabajos digitales siempre que sean firmados por el autor y con la indicación expresa de que se trata de la impresión número 1.
5. Tendrán un formato máximo de 30 x 42 cm, sin marco y comprendido su eventual “passe partout”.
6. Los premios establecidos son:
1º. Premio: 1000 euros
2º. Premio: 700 euros
Dos accésit: 200 euros
Premio especial mejor obra Región de Murcia: 200 euros
Premio mejor obra Santomera: Tableta Gráfica (por valor de 200 euros).
7. El plazo de recepción de las obras será desde el día 11 de Enero hasta el día 26 de Febrero de 2010 a las 14 horas. Fuera de dicho plazo no se admitirá obra alguna.
8. Las obras se presentarán, haciendo constar el nombre del autor, así como el resto de datos personales, tales como: dirección, teléfono, fotografía, e-mail y un breve currículo.
9. Las obras deberán remitirse a la dirección siguiente:

10. El jurado estará compuesto por los miembros designados por la Concejala de Mujer, Igualdad de Oportunidades, Mayores e Inmigración.
El fallo del jurado, que será inapelable, se hará público el 9 de Marzo de 2010. Los premios podrán ser declarados desiertos a juicio del jurado.
11. Las obras seleccionadas serán expuestas desde el 29 de Marzo al 30 de Abril de 2010 en las dependencias de CASAGRANDE, en Santomera.
12. Los criterios de valoración de las obras serán:
Calidad, originalidad y relación con el tema escogido. Se valorarán las obras que transmitan un mensaje positivo.
13. Las obras premiadas quedarán en propiedad del Ayuntamiento de Santomera. Los autores de las mismas se comprometen a ceder al mismo los derechos de explotación de la obra en su modalidad de reproducción, comunicación pública y distribución.
14. Las obras no premiadas serán devueltas a sus autores, siempre que en el envío se haga constar expresamente, si bien quedan excluidos los trabajos que no se ajusten a las bases. Estas obras serán devueltas una vez que el Ayuntamiento realice las exposiciones programadas.
15. Estas bases se publicarán en el Tablón de anuncios y la página web del Ayuntamiento www.ayuntamientodesantomera.com, así como en el siguiente blog: http://humor-grafico-santomera.blogspot.com/
16. El hecho de concursar supone la plena aceptación de estas bases.

3. TOPIC: “GLOBALIZATION, SOCIAL EXCLUSION AND SOLIDARITY”.
4. The works must be original, any painting technique being accepted. Top quality prints of works achieved by digital tools will be considered originals as long as the author sings them, and with the indication that it is Print nº1.
5. The format of the works will be maximum 30x42 cm without frame.
6. The following PRIZES have been established:
1st PRIZE: 1000 euro
2nd PRIZE: 700 euro
Two runners-up: 200 euro
Special prize best work in Murcia's Region: 200 euro
Special prize best work in Santomera: Graphic Tablet (worth 200 euros).
7. The entries should be submitted from 11th January until 26th February 2010 by 14:00. No work will be accepted after that limit time.

10. The jury panel will be made up by members designated by the Women, Equal Opportunities, Elderly and Immigration Department of the city council. The decisions of the Jury will be final and will be made public on 9th March 2010. The jury has the right to declare the prizes deserted.
11. The selected works will be exhibited from 29th March until 30th April 2010 in the premises of Casagrande in Santomera.
12. The entries will be judged according to the following criteria: Quality, originality and relation with the chosen theme. Entries transmitting positive messages will be especially valued.
13. The prize-winning works will become the property of the Council of Santomera and will not be returned to their authors. The authors accept that the City Council will have all the exploitation rights over the work for its reproduction, public communication and distribution.
14. Non-award winning entries will be returned to their authors, provided that this has been clearly stated in the identification label (works which do not respect the contest's rules will not be returned). These works will be returned once the Council of Santomera has concluded the programmed exhibitions.

INAUGURACIÓN DE LA EXPOSICIÓN "INMIGRACIÓN Y ENRIQUECIMIENTO MUTUO"

El 3 de abril, a las 20.30 horas, quedó inaugurada la exposición de humor gráfico Santomera 2009, el tema de este año "Inmigración y enriquecimiento mutuo". Contó con la presencia de Moisés Valenciano, el dibujante murciano que se llevó uno de los accesit, y con los padres de David Lopera, premio al mejor autor murciano.

Algunos datos estadísticos.
Se han presentado 191 obras de 120 autores nacionales e internacionales; han llegado obras desde 38 países de América, Europa, África y Asia . Con relación a 2008, este año hemos contado con participantes de nuevos países: Kuwait, Azerbaiyán, Moldavia, Inglaterra, Suecia, Italia, Reino Unido, República Checa, Sudán, Egipto, Luxemburgo y Finlandia; lamentamos sin embargo la ausencia de Macedonia, Bielorrusia, Hungría, Australia, Bosnia-Hercegovina, Corea del Sur y Colombia. Este año ha aumentado extraordinariamente la participación española, pasando de 17 a 25 dibujantes, un 21% del total; con el premio a la mejor obra de Murcia se ha pretendido estimular la participación de autores murcianos, y creemos que se ha conseguido con la presencia de 9 humoristas gráficos de nuestra región (8% del total y 36% del total de los españoles).

“En la variedad está el gusto”, reza el dicho popular, “y la riqueza”, añadiríamos nosotros. La inmigración se nos presenta como una oportunidad histórica para que tanto los inmigrantes como la sociedad de acogida salgan enriquecidos, para ello es necesario que compartamos lo que de valioso y común tenemos y respetemos las singularidades de cada uno. Con la presente exposición se pretende arrojar, a través del humor y la ironía, un poco de luz a este proceso.

2ND INTERNATIONAL “OLIVE” CARTOON CONTEST 2009

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS:
1-This contest and exhibition is open to all professional and amateur cartoonists of any nationality religion and background…

2-Subjects-Topics: Cartoons against detroying the olive trees, olive, olive industry, olive oil, olive branch, olive tree, cutting olive trees, benefit from olive etc...

3-The minimum and maximum sizes of each cartoon to be submitted must be A4 and A3. Cartoons can be drawn in any colour… There shall be no frame nor any bandages around the cartoons…

4-The cartoons must be original... Not photocopies...

5-The cartoons submitted to the contest which will be pre-elected will be put and exhibited on a web page for the attention and objection of international cartoon associations to overcome copying and steeling… Any cartoon which is copied, stolen or awarded in other cartoon contest will be disqualified…

6-All participants are allowed to submit maximum two cartoons… Name, surname, address, e-mail and telephone numbers of the participants must be written at the back of each cartoon… A short resume and photograph must also be attached…

7-All the cartoons must reach to the specified addresss till 01 JUNE 2009… The cartoonists themselves will be responsible from all losses, delays and damages…

8-Being publicated or not is not important for the cartoons… The important thing is that they should not be awarded in any contest…

9-All cartoons eligible for an award or not shall not be returned and shall be stored in archive of the "Cyprus Inernational Catoon Museum."

10-Besides those cartoons which will be awarded, all the cartoons approved by the selection committee will be pubicated in an album and exhibited in Kyrenia Village during the “8th International Olive Festival”.

11-The result of the contest will be announced in local newspapers…

• The transfer and accomodation expenses of the cartoonists who will win the first three awards will be paid by the Municipality of Kyrenia…

• Only the accomodation expenses of the cartoonists who will win particular/distinctive awards will be paid by the Municipality of Kyrenia…

GANADORES DEL III CONCURSO DE HUMOR GRÁFICO SANTOMERA 2008

Al III CONCURSO DE HUMOR GRÁFICO SANTOMERA 2008 se han presentado unos 100 artistas de casi todos los continentes del mundo; en total han sido unas 150 obras las recibidas este año, algunas de ellas con bastante nivel artístico y humorístico, que en el fondo es lo que se pretendía. Al final, tras la deliberación del jurado compuesto por humoristas gráficos y personal del Ayuntamiento relacionado con la temática propuesta "Tolerancia Intercultural", y tras descartar muchos y buenos dibujos, se han premiado los cuatro que ha continuación se nombran:
1º. Rudi Schmückle -Rudi. Rumania.
2º. Ilya Katz -Katz. Israel.

Accesit. Elena Ospina -Elena. Colombia.

Gracias a todos y a todas por participar. Tras la exposición –1 al 30 de abril– se elaborará un catálogo con al menos una obra de cada participante, y que todos recibirán, si no hay problemas, a mediados de Junio.
